Description

You will lead the administration of Ab Initio ETL tools within cloud environments, providing hands-on technical expertise for on-premises and AWS data integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead all tasks involved in the administration of the Ab Initio ETL tool in the cloud.
• Support the implementation of Data Integration and Data Warehouse products on-prem and in AWS.
• Design and develop automated ETL processes, architectures, and unit testing for ETL code.
• Troubleshoot Kerberos, TLS/SSL, Models, Experiments, and workload issues.
• Represent the team in architectural and design discussions as a subject matter expert.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Ab Initio administration.
• Expert knowledge of Ab Initio Graphical Development Environment (GDG), Meta Data Hub (MDH), and Operational Console.
• Advanced experience engineering relational databases including DB2, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and RDS.
• Extensive experience with Cloudera (Hadoop, HDFS, YARN, Hive, Spark) administration.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, and IAM.
• Proficiency in UNIX, Linux, Shell scripting, and SQL.
• Experience creating Big Data pipelines from on-premises to Data Lakes and Cloud Storage (EBS/S3).
• Experience troubleshooting Hive, ICFF, and HDFS.
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and BitBucket.
• Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
