Description

You will manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Ab Initio environments across on-prem and cloud platforms.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Execute Ab Initio installations, upgrades, and system maintenance.
• Implement the Ab Initio Platform using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Manage containerized environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Automate workflows by writing Ansible Playbooks from scratch using YAML.
• Maintain web architecture stacks including Apache, Tomcat, WebSphere, or JBOSS.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with Ab Initio installations, upgrades, and configurations.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with the Ab Initio ETL tool.
• 2+ years of experience as an Ab Initio System Administrator.
• 2+ years of experience with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• 2+ years of experience with web architecture and technology stacks like Apache, Tomcat, WebSphere, or JBOSS.
• Strong knowledge of Red Hat Linux, OpenShift, and networking concepts.
• Proficiency in one or more languages: C, C++, Java, Perl, Python, Go, or Shell/PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with Continuous Integration workflows using Git, GitHub, and Jira.
• Knowledge of cloud security, platform integration, and monitoring for GCP, AWS, or Azure.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) installations.
