Description

You manage and maintain Ab Initio ETL environments, ensuring high availability and efficient deployment pipelines.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Administer Ab Initio components, including MFD, GDE, and Control Center, to maintain 99.5% system uptime.
• Automate configuration management and infrastructure provisioning using Ansible and shell scripting.
• Manage Linux (RHEL/CentOS) system administration, user access, and security compliance.
• Deploy and manage web applications and Ab Initio components on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Monitor system performance using tools like Splunk, Nagios, or ELK stack, and resolve incidents rapidly.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of IT experience, with at least 3 years of hands-on Ab Initio administration.
• Strong Linux/RHEL system administration skills.
• Proficiency in Ansible for automation and configuration management.
• Advanced shell scripting and Unix text processing capabilities.
• Experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git or SVN.

Preferred Skills

• Ab Initio certification in administration or architecture.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of additional cloud platforms (Azure, GCP).
