Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Ab Initio GDE 3.0 / Co>Ops 2.14 or higher solutions using Continuous Flows concepts and components.
• Implement XML processing and XPath queries, including XML parsing, splitting, and reformatting within Ab Initio workflows.
• Create and use PSET, interpret PDL for data processing and manipulation, and build and use ICFF including dynamic and regular lookups.
• Work effectively in UNIX/Linux environments and use shell scripting to support data processing and operational tasks.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL workflows and data integration solutions.
• Troubleshoot application issues and ensure high-performance data processing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business and technical requirements.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, development best practices, and operational procedures.
• Support deployment, testing, and production maintenance activities.

Skills Required:

• Strong experience in Ab Initio GDE and Co>Ops development.
• Expertise in Continuous Flows concepts and Ab Initio ETL workflows.
• Experience working with XML processing, XML parsing, and XPath queries.
• Knowledge of PSET, PDL interpretation, and ICFF implementations including dynamic and regular lookups.
• Strong UNIX/Linux environment experience with shell scripting capabilities.
• Proficiency in SQL and data transformation techniques.
• Understanding of ETL concepts, data integration, and workflow optimization.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize data processing applications.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in collaborative development and support environments.
• Exposure to Australian Financial Services domain projects.
• Understanding of project management methodologies and stakeholder coordination.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
