Description

You will design and deliver data engineering features using Ab Initio within a self-organised team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop impactful software features and mid-size applications using Ab Initio technology.
• Align engineering efforts with Product Management and leadership goals.
• Drive engineering best practices across the team, including Operational Excellence, Security, and Quality.
• Resolve product manager requirement queries and define solutions for identified gaps.
• Review peer code and provide feedback against established standards.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of proven experience delivering throughout the software development life cycle.
• Complete understanding of latest Ab Initio technologies and capabilities.
• Hands-on programming expertise in GDE and Unix scripting languages.
• Strong estimation skills with the ability to justify delivery timelines.
• Awareness of Jenkins pipeline principles.
• Knowledge of Agile practices and collaborative delivery.
• Advocate for quality practices like Pair Programming and identify efficiency improvements.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with AWS interactions and file storage.
• Core understanding of Lambda programming.
• Experience solving real-world problems in complex, regulated environments.
