Description

Lead ETL development and data warehousing architecture using the Ab Initio suite. Own project architecture, technical documentation, and team delivery.

Responsibilities

• Drive project architecture by authoring functional and design specifications to ensure scalability and data quality.
• Develop ETL processes using GDE, PDL programming, Meta Programming, and Conduct>IT Plans.
• Lead and manage technical teams within an onsite/offshore delivery model.
• Create technical documentation, including design documents, unit testing, and handover materials.
• Interact directly with end-user clients to define requirements and project interfaces.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of IT industry experience with a focus on ETL and Data Warehousing.
• Expertise in Ab Initio components: GDE, PSETS, PDL, Meta Programming, and Continuous Graphs.
• Hands-on experience with Conduct>IT (Plans) and Ab Initio parallelism techniques.
• Proficiency in Ab Initio AIR commands, m commands, and Unix shell scripting.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL and relational databases.
• Deep understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with Ab Initio BRE (Business Rule Environment) or ACE Application.
