Description

Design, build, and test ETL applications using the Ab Initio platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL workflows using Ab Initio components including GDE, Co>Operating System, EME, and Conduct>It.
• Write and optimize SQL queries and manage database interactions.
• Implement scheduling and monitoring using Control Center, Autosys, or Control-M.
• Handle diverse data file formats, including mainframe files, and integrate with Kafka and message queues.
• Apply business intelligence and data warehousing concepts to end-to-end project implementations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience designing and building ETL applications with Ab Initio.
• Strong hands-on proficiency with Ab Initio products (GDE, Co>OS, EME, Conduct>It, PDL).
• Proficient in Unix and Shell Scripting.
• Deep knowledge of SQL, databases, and data warehousing principles.
• Experience with scheduling tools such as Control Center, Autosys, or Control-M.
• Understanding of mainframe technologies including COBOL and DB2.
• Familiarity with Kafka, message queues, and real-time stateful services.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for data engineering projects.
• Experience with cloud-based big data platforms, specifically AWS S3, Athena, and Glue.
• Exposure to Data Lake architectures and Snowflake.

Bachelor's degree required.
