Description

You will own the end-to-end data engineering lifecycle, focusing on extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using Java, Spark, and Ab Initio.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy data applications independently within a large corporate environment.
• Implement and manage ETL pipelines using Ab Initio GDE, Java, and Spark on Hadoop.
• Maintain code quality and ensure operational stability across the software development life cycle.
• Debug complex data issues and optimize pipeline performance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Hands-on expertise with Ab Initio GDE.
• Proficiency in Java and Spark.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with RDBMS technologies.
• Experience working within Hadoop environments.
• Knowledge of AWS and cloud architecture.
• Competency in Shell scripting.
• Understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and application resiliency.
• Familiarity with Data Warehousing, Data Lake, and Data Mesh concepts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Teradata.
