Description

You will design, develop, and deploy ETL processes using Ab Initio to meet business requirements and data warehouse standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop ETL code using Ab Initio GDE and backend Linux servers.
• Design high-quality deliverables following established design principles, patterns, and DWH concepts.
• Lead and groom geographically distributed developers and perform code reviews for junior team members.
• Execute end-to-end testing in coordination with regional UAT teams and manage production deployments.
• Create unit tests to ensure code coverage meets agreed standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Ab Initio GDE and transform components (reformat, join, rollup, scan, normalize).
• Advanced knowledge of Unix/Linux commands and Linux shell scripting.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, including PL/SQL and stored procedures.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and DWH/ETL concepts.
• Hands-on experience with job schedulers, specifically Autosys.
• Experience with automated deployment procedures and defect lifecycle management using JIRA.
