Description

You will design and develop scalable enterprise-grade ETL processes using Ab Initio.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design highly scalable ETL processes and frameworks within Ab Initio.
• Develop complex code and business rules to load data into target systems.
• Handle complex ETL flows including Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD) Type 1, 2, and 3.
• Analyze and provide solutions for production issues and perform performance tuning.
• Lead the development team to deliver high-quality ETL solutions.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in design and development using Ab Initio.
• Hands-on expertise with Ab Initio GDE, Express IT, and Metadatahub.
• Proficiency with plans, continuous flows, micrographs, and XML file handling.
• Deep knowledge of components such as XML Split, XML Combine, Normalize, Join with DB, and Rollup.
• Strong skills in Unix and shell scripting.
• Experience with database management and performance tuning.
• Solid understanding of the full SDLC.
• Experience with requirement elicitation, documentation, and business process modelling.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Jira.
• Experience with Talend ETL tool.
