Description

You will design and develop scalable enterprise-grade ETL processes using Ab Initio.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop highly scalable ETL processes and frameworks within Ab Initio GDE.
• Develop complex code and business rules to load data into target systems.
• Implement ETL flows for slowly changing dimensions (SCD) including Type 1, Type 2, and Type 3.
• Lead and guide the development team to deliver high-quality ETL solutions.
• Analyze and resolve production issues while gathering requirements directly from clients.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in design and development using Ab Initio.
• Hands-on experience with plans, continuous flows, micrographs, and XML file handling.
• Proficiency with Ab Initio components including XML Split, XML Combine, Normalize, Join with DB, and Rollup.
• Strong knowledge of Unix, shell scripting, and database management.
• Experience with performance tuning and all phases of the SDLC.
• Expertise in requirement elicitation, documentation, and business process modelling.
• Experience conducting system and user acceptance testing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Talend ETL tool.
• Knowledge of Jira.
