Description

Design and develop scalable enterprise-grade ETL processes using Ab Initio GDE. This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and build highly scalable ETL frameworks and processes using Ab Initio GDE.
• Implement ETL flows for slowly changing dimensions (SCD) Types 1, 2, and 3.
• Develop complex code and business rules to load data into target systems.
• Lead and guide the development team to deliver high-quality ETL solutions.
• Analyze and resolve production issues while gathering requirements from clients.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in design and development using Ab Initio.
• Expertise in Ab Initio GDE, Express IT, and Metadatahub.
• Hands-on experience with plans, continuous flows, micrographs, and XML file handling.
• Proficiency with components including XML Split, XML Combine, Normalize, Join with DB, and Rollup.
• Strong knowledge of Unix and shell scripting.
• Experience with database management and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with all phases of the SDLC and requirement elicitation techniques.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Jira.
• Experience with Talend ETL tool.
