Description

You will design and implement data integration solutions using the Ab Initio toolkit, owning the full lifecycle from technical design to delivery. You will lead technical teams, interact directly with clients, and ensure rigorous data quality through established warehousing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop Ab Initio graphs using core components such as Rollup, Scan, Join, Partition, Gather, Merge, Sort, and Lookup.
• Implement parallelism techniques including Data, Pipeline, and Component parallelism to optimize performance.
• Lead and manage technical teams while serving as the primary technical point of contact for end users and clients.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation, including project architecture diagrams, end-user manuals, and operations hand-off guides.
• Ensure data quality by adhering to strict quality processes and data warehousing principles.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as an Ab Initio Developer.
• Expertise in Ab Initio components and parallelism techniques.
• Strong command of Ab Initio air and m commands.
• Proficiency in SQL and Unix shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Unix and Linux environments.
• Working knowledge of the Big Data and Hadoop ecosystem.
• Proven analytical and technical problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Ab Initio BRE (Business Rule Environment) or ACE (Application Configuration Environment).
• Knowledge of Ab Initio Operation Console.
• Background in the BFSI domain.
