Description

You will build and maintain ETL workflows using the Ab Initio ecosystem, integrating with Hadoop and Kafka environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain ETL processes using Ab Initio components including BRE, MHub, and Hadoop.
• Integrate data pipelines with Hadoop environments, specifically Hive and HDFS.
• Implement Kafka integrations within existing data architectures.
• Utilize GDE components and Plans to manage data movement and transformation.
• Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams to articulate technical scenarios and requirements.

Required Skills

• Minimum 6 years of experience in ETL development.
• Mandatory Ab Initio certification.
• Deep knowledge of the Ab Initio ecosystem: BRE, MHub, Hadoop components, Plans, and GDE.
• Proficiency in Oracle SQL and Unix scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Hadoop, Hive, and HDFS.
• Experience with Kafka integration.
• Strong understanding of Vectors, Metaprogramming, and Conduct>It.
• Solid grasp of Data Warehousing (DW) concepts and Big Data environments.

Preferred Skills

• Competency in all Ab Initio batch components.
• Experience with XML processing.
