Description

You will develop tools and frameworks for the ABAP Platform, including SAP S/4HANA Cloud and SAP Business Technology Platform. You own technical components end-to-end, from independent planning to execution.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test software in collaboration with product owners and stakeholders.
• Evolving IDEs and pro-code tools used for building business software with ABAP.
• Apply standard programming concepts and principles to solve complex technical problems.
• Incorporate emerging trends in AI and pro-code tools to drive continuous improvement of development environments.

Required Skills

• 3–4 years of relevant experience in software development.
• Proficiency in JAVA and ABAP programming.
• Strong object-oriented design skills.
• Solid knowledge of Gen AI, Pro Code Tools, and Integrated Development Environments (IDEs).
• Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and database design concepts.
• Experience writing high-quality code with unit testing using JUnit or AUnits.
• Ability to perform technical modeling using UML.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology, majoring in Computer Science or Information Science.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of in-memory databases, Generative AI, eclipse plugin development, and HTML5.
