Description

Develop and enhance core data modeling components using ABAP Dictionary and ABAP CDS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full software development life cycle from requirement analysis through design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Transform ABAP Dictionary data models into physical data models for the SAP HANA database.
• Handle data transformations and manage model dependencies to enable near-zero downtime during SAP system upgrades.
• Write, maintain, and optimize ABAP code using agile methods, test-driven development, and pair programming.
• Provide consulting and technical support for internal and external customers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Design and programming.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational database systems.
• Experience working with Data Models.
• Fluent German (C1 level) and English language skills.
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• SAP HANA knowledge.
