Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Ab Initio Graphs for enterprise ETL and data integration projects.
• Develop reusable components using GDE (Graphical Development Environment).
• Create and optimize data processing graphs using Co>Operating System.
• Build and maintain ETL workflows utilizing Control Center and Conduct>It.
• Develop and optimize reusable MP (Multi-File System) and Parallel Processing components.
• Work with business analysts, data architects, and application teams to understand business requirements.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading from multiple source systems.
• Develop shell scripts for job automation and scheduling.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Optimize ETL jobs for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain technical documentation.
• Support production deployments and ongoing application maintenance.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Ab Initio GDE (Graphical Development Environment).
• Hands-on experience with Co>Operating System, Control Center, and Conduct>It.
• Experience developing complex ETL Graphs and reusable components.
• Strong SQL skills with Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Teradata, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts including Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Fact, and Dimension tables.
• Experience in data profiling, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.
• Understanding of parallel processing and ETL performance tuning.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in Ab Initio ETL development.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
• Knowledge of scheduling tools such as Control-M, Autosys, or Cron is preferred
