Description

You will develop software features for credit card consumers as part of a self-organised Ab Initio engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop impactful software features using Ab Initio technology.
• Align engineering efforts with Product Management and leadership goals.
• Focus on developing major components, features, or mid-size applications/services.
• Drive engineering best practices across the team, including Operational Excellence, Security, and Quality.
• Innovate and contribute to technical domain initiatives within the team.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of proven experience delivering throughout the software development life cycle.
• Complete understanding of latest Ab Initio technologies and capabilities.
• Hands-on programming expertise in GDE and Unix scripting languages.
• Ability to resolve product manager requirement queries and define solutions for identified gaps.
• Advocate for quality practices like Pair Programming and identify efficiency improvements.
• Ability to review peer code and provide feedback against established standards.
• Strong estimation skills with the ability to justify delivery timelines.
• Awareness of Jenkins pipeline principles.
• Knowledge of Agile practices and collaborative delivery.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with AWS interactions and file storage.
• Core understanding of Lambda programming.
• Experience solving real-world problems in complex, regulated environments.
