Description

You will act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and Accela developers to align technical implementation with planning and permitting operations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and implement Accela system solutions to support Planning & Development staff.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for Accela developers.
• Drive solution development and engage with users to identify and resolve system issues proactively.
• Conduct demonstrations and training sessions to communicate system functionalities and updates to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Accela solution architecture and planning/permitting software systems.
• Experience analyzing business processes and documenting technical requirements.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, or equivalent professional experience.
• Advanced skills in Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Power BI, and Jira.
• Understanding of local government planning and permitting operations.

Preferred Skills

• 3+ years of experience as an Accela Business Analyst.
• 3+ years of experience developing and managing Accela system solutions.
