Description

You will develop and test web applications to ensure compliance with accessibility standards for public service websites.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated accessibility testing to document compliance.
• Write technical reports describing accessibility issues and remediation recommendations.
• Develop applications using the .NET stack while adhering to WCAG guidelines.
• Collaborate within an agile scrum team to implement accessibility improvements.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience with C#, ASP.NET, MVC, CORE, and RESTful APIs.
• 4+ years of experience with Entity Framework or a comparable ORM.
• 4+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or jQuery.
• 2+ years of experience with Azure DevOps and Git/GitHub Enterprise.
• 2+ years of experience with automated unit testing.
• 2+ years of experience working in an Agile Scrum environment.
• 2+ years of experience with T-SQL and MS SQL.
• 1+ years of experience with Bootstrap 4 or above.

Preferred Skills

• 1+ years of experience with TypeScript or Angular 6+.
• 1+ years of experience with WCAG guidelines and accessibility evaluation tools.
• 1+ years of experience with assistive technologies including screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS), magnification, or read-aloud tools.
