Description

Ensure digital products meet WCAG 2.2 standards through auditing, remediation guidance, and user acceptance testing.

Responsibilities

• Audit web and mobile experiences to validate adherence to accessibility guidelines.
• Produce technical documentation to guide development teams through the remediation process.
• Test and validate document accessibility, including PDF, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel files.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for critical product releases.
• Develop training opportunities to increase accessibility maturity across development teams.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in the accessibility field.
• Strong understanding of HTML and CSS for web construction.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript fundamentals.
• Proficiency with assistive technologies including JAWS, NVDA, ZoomText, and Dragon.
• Deep knowledge of WCAG 2.2 and domestic/international accessibility laws.
• Experience with VPAT development and maintenance.
• Ability to communicate technical remediation steps to diverse stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and conduct independent research into emerging standards.
