You will perform accessibility analysis and auditing to support system modernization projects.
Responsibilities
Assess web pages and documents, including PDFs, for conformance to WCAG 2.0 AA standards.
Develop detailed reports identifying accessibility defects and suggesting remediation techniques.
Review assessment results with developers, project teams, and management to interpret testing methods.
Create technical documentation and guidance for developers to assist in remediation.
Participate in the development of accessibility audit methodologies and provide feedback on transaction and form designs.
Required Skills
6 years of experience performing web accessibility audits using assistive technologies, including at least three of: JAWS, VoiceOver, NVDA, ZoomText, or Dragon Naturally Speaking.
6 years of experience performing web accessibility audits using automated technologies, including at least three of: WAVE from WebAIM, Access Assistant from Level Access, aXe from Deque, WAT, Adobe Acrobat, or Microsoft Accessibility Checker.
6 years of experience in UI accessibility testing.
6 years of experience developing technical documentation, including VPATs, and/or using accessibility auditor platforms like Level Access AMP.
5 years of experience performing accessibility audits against digital documents such as PDF and Word.
6 years of experience following Section 508 and WAI guidelines, including WCAG 2.0 A/AA, ARIA, UAAG, and ATAG.
