Description

You will ensure websites and software are accessible to all users, including those with disabilities, by conducting tests across various platforms to identify and resolve usability barriers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct manual and automated accessibility tests on web-based applications to identify usability barriers.
• Develop and implement structured accessibility testing plans to maintain compliance with standards.
• Report findings and technical issues clearly to the development team, communicating effectively with non-technical audiences.
• Interpret results from automated tools and validate them through manual testing.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in accessibility testing.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and their relationship to accessibility.
• Hands-on experience with testing tools such as JAWS, NVDA, Axe, and Lighthouse.
• Familiarity with accessibility laws and guidelines including ADA and WCAG 2.1.
• Experience with manual testing of web-based software.
• Experience with automated accessibility testing and interpreting results.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with assistive technologies.
• Experience designing accessible user interfaces.
