Description

You will own the accessibility testing and remediation strategy for web and mobile applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accessibility testing on web and mobile platforms, focusing on keyboard navigation, screen readers, and color contrast.
• Identify strategies for making applications accessible and provide specific remediation solutions based on assessment results.
• Prepare comprehensive compliance test reports and present findings to designers, developers, and QA teams.
• Evaluate new and emerging assistive technologies to recommend potential accessibility solutions.
• Provide technical assistance and remediation guidance to cross-functional teams.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in accessibility testing and automated QA.
• Deep understanding of WCAG, Section 508, and ADA standards.
• Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ARIA, and jQuery.
• Hands-on experience implementing accessibility within Angular JS and Ext JS.
• Proficiency with assistive technologies including NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver.
• Ability to create user-centric designs and understand diverse disability use cases.
• Strong technical knowledge of the SDLC.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Healthcare domain and Payer solutions.
• Experience acting as a Test Point of Contact for functional area compliance.
