Description

You will test websites and applications for accessibility compliance using manual testing techniques and assistive technologies. You will identify defects, document findings, and provide actionable remediation guidance.

Responsibilities

• Navigate all website elements using keyboard-only inputs, verifying functionality of buttons, links, popups, and forms.
• Conduct testing using NVDA or JAWS screen readers to ensure compatibility for visually impaired users.
• Analyze color contrast ratios using dedicated tools to validate compliance with WCAG standards.
• Document all issues in spreadsheets with detailed descriptions, error snapshots, and code suggestions for fixes.
• Provide guidance on accessibility best practices and audit sites to ensure adherence to regulations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on accessibility.
• Proficiency with NVDA or JAWS screen readers.
• Expertise in keyboard-only navigation testing and form validation.
• Knowledge of WCAG requirements and color contrast analysis tools.
• Ability to create detailed bug reports with visual evidence and technical recommendations.
• Experience using Jira for issue tracking.
• Strong understanding of accessibility standards and regulations.
