Description

Design plastic and sheet metal accessory parts in an engineering environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design sheet metal and plastic parts using Catia V5/V6.
• Perform benchmarking, concept creation, and packaging studies.
• Collaborate with suppliers to request parts, evaluate technical proposals, and write reports.
• Make technical decisions with moderate supervision.
• Develop analytical procedures and report research or test results in various technical formats.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in accessory design.
• Proficiency in Catia V5/V6.
• Experience designing both plastic and sheet metal components.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong technical writing and computer skills for scientific applications.
• BS or MS in engineering.
• Valid Ohio driver's license.
