Description
You will manage complex clerical functions and maintain responsibility for large sums of money and agency valuables.
Responsibilities
- Maintain official agency financial records and certify their accuracy.
- Process payments by writing checks, auditing transactions, and preparing vouchers for signature.
- Manage cash flow by receiving, depositing, and accounting for monies and securities.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports including profit-loss statements.
- Execute purchasing, inventory control, and requisition checks against contract specifications.
- Assist in the preparation and control of the agency budget.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in clerical or financial roles.
- Working knowledge of bookkeeping and auditing.
- Experience with department functions and office procedures.
- Strong mathematical aptitude for complex computations and calculations.
- Ability to handle money and items of value; must be eligible to be bonded.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and practice diplomacy.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to solve problems and work under pressure.
- Any Graduate degree.
