Description

Drive field sales for the full product portfolio within a defined territory of end users and automation machine builders (OEMs). You will forecast and close vision solution opportunities to meet quota goals. Demonstrate products using a defined sales process to secure large strategic opportunities. Conduct customer visits to understand system requirements and coordinate product evaluations with the Applications Engineering team. Maintain and update project information within the Sales Book.

Responsibilities

  • Forecast and close vision solution opportunities with end users, partners, and OEMs.
  • Demonstrate products using a defined sales process to secure large strategic opportunities.
  • Conduct customer visits to understand system requirements in a solution sales environment.
  • Coordinate product evaluations in collaboration with the Applications Engineering team.
  • Maintain and update project information within the Sales Book.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in sales performance within the automation or a similar industry.
  • Proven track record of operating in a solutions sales environment.
  • Experience working with OEMs.
  • Knowledge of Cognex solutions.
  • Proficiency with MS Windows applications.
  • Ability to travel 40% of the time.
  • Ability to work independently.

  • Any Graduate degree.
