Description

You will manage accounting, budget, and reporting systems across diverse fund types, including state appropriations, facility and administration, expendable trusts, and endowed trusts.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting, budget, and reporting systems across multiple fund types with varying restrictions.
• Prepare quarterly budget versus actual reports including fiscal year-end projections.
• Ensure all trust fund expenditures comply with specific gift agreement purposes.
• Provide high-level budgetary support for state appropriations and various trust funds.

Required Skills

• Advanced Excel knowledge with the ability to analyze large data sets.
• Experience using computerized financial reporting systems.
• Strong interpersonal communication and leadership skills.
• Bachelor’s degree with 12 credit hours of accounting coursework, an Associate’s degree in accounting or business with 12 accounting credit hours, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• All degrees must be from appropriately accredited institutions.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of state accounting practices, rules, and regulations.
• Experience modeling budgets and projections.
• MBA or CPA designation.
