Description

You will lead the accounting function, ensuring financial accuracy and regulatory compliance while supervising the team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the month-end close process and prepare monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP and internal controls.
• Manage accounts receivable, vendor payments, and General Ledger entries.
• Oversee WIP preparation and coordinate with operations teams during month-end cycles.
• Execute quarterly tax return submissions and manage periodic state license registrations.
• Supervise the training, development, and performance of direct reports.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of relevant financial experience, including supervisory roles.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and Sage.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Experience managing payroll processing and financial reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Ability to work varied and additional hours during closing and budgeting periods.

Preferred Skills

• CPA (Certified Public Accountant, US) or CPA (Certified Professional Accountant, Canada).
• Background in construction or project-based accounting.
