Description

Design, develop, and test control and monitoring software for hydraulic fracturing fleets.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software architecture for critical control features.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and digital teams to define technical requirements.
• Test code through direct interaction with pressure pumping equipment.
• Participate in daily team meetings and cross-functional development cycles.
• Travel 2-4 times per year within North America for field operations testing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in C++ and MFC using Microsoft Visual Studio.
• Experience with PLC-based Industrial Control & Automation Systems.
• Knowledge of Ethernet and CAN network communication protocols.
• Familiarity with J1939 protocols.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or commensurate qualification.
• Strong oral and written communication skills for management reporting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Oil and Gas industry, specifically with pressure pumping systems.
• Experience working within an Agile Scrum Team using Azure DevOps.
• Background in designing integrated industrial control electrical and software systems.
