Description

You will serve as the ACF2 security Subject Matter Expert responsible for protecting the mainframe environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex security projects and report progress and risk to leadership.
• Manage z/OS system security, including SSL and digital certificate establishment.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
• Educate junior staff on security technologies and best practices.
• Own software and application security across z/OS, CICSpfE, DB2, IMS, MQSeries, and JES2.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as a Security Engineer supporting ACF2 environments.
• Hands-on experience with z/OS system security.
• Deep knowledge of z/OS systems and sub-systems including JCL, SDSF, JES2, and FTP.
• Experience securing applications such as CICSpfE, DB2, IMS, and MQSeries.
• Proficiency with IBM Mainframe technologies.
• Experience with Azure integration.
• Knowledge of security technologies and implementation.
• Ability to act as a technical subject matter expert.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with ACF2-RACF role-based access governance.
• Experience with SIEM tools like Splunk, LogRhythm, or QRadar.
• Experience with Privileged Access Governance tools such as CyberArk or TAM-Z.
