Description

You will own the maintenance, optimization, and automation of the Active Directory ecosystem.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deploy, and configure domain controllers across multiple sites, setting FSMO roles and replication topology.
• Investigate and resolve replication failures, authentication issues, group policy misconfigurations, and trust relationship errors.
• Design and maintain DNS zones and records to support AD functionality and enterprise applications.
• Configure and maintain hybrid identity synchronization between on-premises AD and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Apply software development techniques to securely automate AD builds and updates using APIs and testing methodologies.

Required Skills

• 3+ years experience supporting MS Active Directory, DNS, Windows Server, and Domain Controllers.
• 2+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra Connect or Microsoft CloudSync, including sync architecture and attribute flows.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for AD issues including LDAP, Kerberos, and NTLM.
• Proficiency in DNS troubleshooting, including zone transfers and name resolution issues.
• Experience managing DNS infrastructure, including scavenging policies and secure zone configurations.
• Familiarity with PowerShell and Python for automation scripting.
• Experience handling service requests, incidents, and change requests in an enterprise multi-directory environment.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
