Description

You will lead accessibility compliance audits and technical testing to ensure digital products meet legal and usability standards.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accessibility audits and testing for websites, mobile applications, and documents using WCAG 2.0 and Section 508 standards.
• Perform accessibility analysis on wireframes and mock-ups to identify potential violations early in the design process.
• Prepare detailed technical reports documenting violations and providing code-based solutions.
• Collaborate with software development and QA teams to resolve WCAG compliance defects.
• Develop documentation and training materials to educate internal stakeholders on accessibility best practices.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of technical experience in UI/Front-end development.
• Advanced proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and WAI-ARIA.
• Extensive knowledge of WCAG 2.0/2.1, WAI-ARIA, UAAG, and ATAG guidelines.
• Experience using evaluation tools such as Chrome accessibility developer tools, Ally, Axe, Inspect, or WAI toolbar.
• Hands-on experience with assistive technologies including screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, ChromeVox, VoiceOver, Talkback) and magnifiers.
• Working knowledge of disability laws including the ADA and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.
• Ability to provide technical guidance on making web, mobile, and document content accessible.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with multi-discipline mobile platforms including iPad, iPhone, and Android.
• Any ADA-related certification.
