Description

Evaluate web and mobile applications for WCAG compliance using automated tools and manual assistive technology testing.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Execute accessibility testing using automated tools and manual methods, including assistive technologies, to ensure WCAG compliance.
• Develop and manage test plans, test cases, and scripts based on software requirements and design documents.
• Perform functional, end-to-end, and regression testing to ensure application reliability and quality.
• Document, report, and prioritize critical ADA defects and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and clients to provide accessibility feedback and subject matter expertise during system design.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience as a Quality Analyst with knowledge of QA methodologies.
• 5+ years of experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) within agile projects to meet WCAG 2.0/2.1 level AA standards.
• Proficiency with assistive technologies including JAWS, NVDA, Voiceover, and TalkBack.
• Hands-on experience with testing tools such as WAVE, axe, and ANDI.
• Experience using Jira or GitLab for test management.
• Working knowledge of HTML5 and CSS.
• Ability to lead QA testers and provide technical solutions to development teams.

Preferred Skills

• Certified Professional in Web Accessibility (CPWA) or Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) certification.
