Description

You will lead accessibility testing and audit activities for web and mobile applications to ensure conformance with WCAG and regulatory standards.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct manual and automated accessibility testing using assistive technologies to evaluate conformance to WCAG 2.0 and 2.1 level AA.
• Create and manage test plans, test cases, and scripts based on software requirements and design documents.
• Perform functional, end-to-end, and regression testing to ensure application reliability and quality.
• Document and prioritize ADA defects while providing feedback and solutions to development teams.
• Act as a subject matter expert during system design and participate in usability testing and research.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) methodologies within agile projects.
• In-depth knowledge of ADA tools including WAVE, JAWS, axe, and ANDI.
• Hands-on experience with assistive technologies such as NVDA, Voiceover, and TalkBack across various devices and browsers.
• Proficiency with HTML5 and CSS.
• Experience using test management tools like Jira or GitLab.
• Ability to lead QA testers and provide direction on accessibility best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Certified Professional in Web Accessibility (CPWA) or Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, MIS, or Engineering.
