Description

You will lead accessibility testing and audit activities for web and mobile applications to ensure compliance with ADA and WCAG standards.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead accessibility testing and audits using manual and automated tools to evaluate conformance to WCAG and regulatory requirements.
• Create and manage test plans, test cases, and scripts based on software requirements and design documents.
• Conduct functional, end-to-end, and regression testing to ensure application reliability and quality.
• Document and prioritize critical ADA defects and report areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and clients to provide feedback and act as a subject matter expert during system design.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) methodologies within agile projects.
• In-depth knowledge of ADA tools and standards including WAVE, JAWS, axe, and ANDI.
• Hands-on experience with assistive technologies such as JAWS, NVDA, Voiceover, and TalkBack.
• 4 years of experience working with HTML5 and CSS.
• Proficiency with test management tools such as Jira or GitLab.
• Expertise in WCAG 2.0 and 2.1 level AA conformance levels.
• Proven ability to lead QA testers and provide technical solutions to development teams.

Preferred Skills

• Certified Professional in Web Accessibility (CPWA) or Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, MIS, or Engineering.
