Description

You will own accessibility testing for the Client Gateway System to ensure eligibility applications meet all compliance standards.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Act as the subject matter expert for web application accessibility testing.
• Standardize logging templates and systems for tracking accessibility defects.
• Manage and prioritize critical ADA defects.
• Support usability testing and research for accessibility.
• Provide project-based team training on ADA awareness and implementation solutions.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) methodologies.
• In-depth working knowledge of WCAG (2.0, 2.1 level AA), WAI-ARIA, and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
• Proficiency with assistive technologies including JAWS, NVDA, and Voiceover.
• Experience using WAVE and other manual and automated testing tools across multiple devices, browsers, and operating systems.
• Ability to write testing rules, standards, and scripts.
• Working knowledge of HTML5 and CSS.
• Experience with Health and Human Services Systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Skills

• Certified Professional in Web Accessibility (CPWA) or Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) certification.
