You will provide professional administrative support to an executive, managing routine and average difficulty tasks.
Responsibilities
Act as a liaison between the executive's office and state, local, federal agencies, and community organizations.
Manage correspondence, compose replies, and assemble information for speeches and staff meetings.
Supervise, train, and evaluate assigned clerical staff, including making personnel recommendations.
Handle complaints and requests from legislators, citizens, and employees.
Coordinate travel arrangements, maintain expense accounts, and manage office supplies.
Required Skills
5+ years of professional or paraprofessional experience.
Ability to perform analytical tasks and manage routine and non-routine correspondence.
Experience managing receptions and professional gatherings.
Proficiency in operating standard office machines and equipment.
Experience taking minutes at staff meetings.
Strong teamwork and collaborative abilities.
Preferred Skills
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; qualifying professional experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis up to a maximum of four years.
