Description

You will manage Oracle Exadata environments within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) using DevOps practices and automated workflows.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle Exadata databases to ensure high availability and performance.
• Execute regular OCI Exadata patching cycles, including testing in non-production environments and coordinating downtime with IT teams.
• Automate routine administrative tasks using OCI Command Line Interface (CLI) and scripting.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for database code and schema changes.
• Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures using Oracle Data Guard for real-time protection.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle Exadata Administrator.
• Extensive experience managing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• OCI certification.
• Proficiency with OCI Command Line Interface (CLI).
• Hands-on experience with patch management for Oracle Exadata.
• Experience with Git.
• Experience with Jenkins.
• Experience with Azure DevOps.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle database security, encryption, and user access management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies.
