Description

You will provide technical support and leadership for ADMS/EMS software suites within electrical transmission and distribution grids.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and troubleshoot issues across user interfaces, network connectivity, data collection, and control system interfaces.
• Lead strategy sessions with internal staff and customers to solve technical issues and prevent re-occurrence.
• Manage a personal caseload, ensuring follow-up and adherence to change control and compliance protocols.
• Identify product problems for engineering resolution and document findings in the Knowledge Base.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of experience supporting ADMS, EMS, or SCADA software suites.
• Knowledge of Transmission and Distribution electrical grids.
• Working knowledge of SCADA communication protocols including DNP3, IEC 104, IEC 61850, and Modbus.
• Experience with ICCP and RTU.
• Proficiency with Linux, Windows, Oracle, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with TCP/IP, IP addressing, routing, LAN, DNS, Active Directory, firewalls, and switches.
• Understanding of NERC CIP Standards.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with remote monitoring and diagnostics solutions.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and travel to customer sites.
