Description

You will design and implement security automation solutions.

Responsibilities

• Customize the Palo Alto XSOAR platform based on operational needs.
• Integrate existing Security Operation Center (SOC) systems using well-defined APIs.
• Onboard new data sources into Splunk or other SIEM tools and maintain them periodically.
• Deploy and evaluate external proof-of-concept security tools.
• Automate various manual tasks within SOC workflows.

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience customizing an SOAR tool, preferably Palo Alto XSOAR.
• Minimum 5 years of development experience using Python and web frameworks (Django, Flask).
• Experience with log management and SIEM technologies, specifically Splunk.
• Proven experience creating and reusing Restful APIs for system integration.
• Proficiency in Python (70-80% focus) and Splunk (20-30% focus).
• Knowledge of Linux, Git, and Nginx.
• Familiarity with web frontend technologies: JavaScript, jQuery, HTML/CSS.
• Understanding of SQL databases or equivalent DBs.
