Description

You will ensure the quality and integrity of the Google Navigation System on Android devices. You will execute test cases, log bugs, track progress, and verify resolutions across multiple projects and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles to test the Map navigation system displayed on cars.
• Test the navigation system on different mobile devices, emulators, and simulators.
• Update end results in the client-provided tool and assist leadership in preparing metrics.
• Review and update test cases, track filed issues, and verify resolutions.

Required Skills

• Valid Driver's License with willingness to perform drive tests.
• 3+ years of experience as a Test Engineer with strong Android testing skills.
• Proficiency in using Android Simulators, Emulators, Android Studio, and ADB commands.
• Experience with native mobile application testing on Android.
• Knowledge of UI, Sanity, Regression, functional, integration, accessibility, exploratory, and compatibility testing.
• Strong debugging skills and understanding of bug lifecycle concepts and release cycles.
• Ability to write, review, and execute test cases based on requirements.
• Familiarity with Unix commands and Mac/Linux machines.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience testing map navigation systems in vehicles.
• Experience with Confluence.
