Description

Act as a technology expert in Routing & Switching to design, implement, and troubleshoot deployments within customer infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Review customer network designs for EVPN, VxLAN, and leaf-spine architectures to provide deployment recommendations.
• Assist customers with deploying and maintaining Network Packet Broker solutions.
• Migrate or interconnect infrastructure from Cisco, Juniper, and other vendors to Arista environments.
• Build network provisioning automation using Python and tools such as Chef or Ansible.
• Conduct proof of concepts (POC) and in-depth testing to validate design scenarios.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with network technologies, including design and deployment of Campus and Data Center networks.
• 5+ years of experience with Cisco-based technologies, specifically Catalyst, Nexus, and ASR.
• Expert knowledge of Ethernet, VLANs, VxLAN, EVPN, IP Routing, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, eBGP, Multicast, QoS, Wi-Fi, and NPB.
• Proficiency in Python, Perl, and general scripting for network automation.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible.
• Expert level knowledge of industry-standard CLI.
• Hands-on experience with Data Center technologies such as OpenStack, SDN, NFV, Load Balancers, Virtualization, or Linux tools.

Preferred Skills

• Network Industry Certifications such as CCIE (R&S) or JNCIE.
• Background as a Network Consulting Engineer or Advanced Systems Engineer.
