Description

You will engineer and maintain AEM Assets solutions, focusing on workflow automation, integrations, and data migration for the AEM Cloud environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Configure and develop custom AEM Assets workflows for lifecycle management, metadata validation, and versioning.
• Build automation scripts for bulk asset ingestion, tagging, and folder routing using CSV, APIs, and storage platforms.
• Develop integrations between AEM Assets and external platforms, specifically implementing Workfront connections using Adobe Fusion.
• Create migration scripts to execute asset, metadata, and file reference transfers from legacy platforms into AEM Assets.
• Design and consume RESTful APIs, handling JSON/XML data and OAuth authentication for secure integrations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on AEM development experience, with a strong focus on AEM Assets.
• Proficiency in Java for core AEM backend development.
• Deep knowledge of Apache Sling (Servlets, Models, Filters, Listeners) and OSGi (Declarative Services, bundles).
• Experience with JCR/Oak Repository and HTL (Sightly).
• Ability to build AEM Workflows (models, launchers, custom process steps) and use AEM Assets APIs.
• Proficiency in Groovy scripting for DAM automation and JavaScript for integrations.
• Familiarity with Adobe I/O APIs, Adobe Workfront APIs, and Adobe Fusion scenario orchestration.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for AEM deployments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CDN and image optimization strategies.
• Exposure to creating AI agents or working with LLM-based chat interfaces.
