Description

Develop and maintain Adobe Experience Manager applications for a 12-month contract in Pretoria.

Responsibilities

• Build custom components, templates, and workflows within AEM to meet business requirements.
• Integrate AEM with external systems and third-party applications using APIs and web services.
• Write clean, maintainable code using Java, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security while troubleshooting production issues.
• Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of web development experience with a focus on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
• Strong proficiency in Java and related frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Sling and OSGi (Apache Felix).
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Working knowledge of Apache Tomcat, Apache Hadoop, and Apache Hive.
• Familiarity with Adobe Suite and Adobe XD.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) or Adobe Certified Developer (ACD) certification in AEM.
