Description

You will develop and maintain Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) components, ensuring clean code, high performance, and robust architecture.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write modular, reusable, and maintainable code adhering to SOLID principles.
• Implement defensive programming and manage exceptions across HTL, Sling Models, and services.
• Optimize JCR queries and indexing for application performance.
• Ensure thread safety in services, schedulers, and listeners when necessary.
• Document core logic, component behavior, and assumptions clearly.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong foundation in Java programming.
• Extensive hands-on workflow experience with Sling servlet, REST, JSON, and Lucene indexing.
• Experience with AEM 6.4 or newer versions.
• Deep understanding of AEM security and its Access Controls.
• Proficiency with HTL/Sightly best practices, avoiding business logic in HTML.
• Skilled in Git branching strategy and conducting peer code reviews.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Hudson.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with performance-optimized component development and dispatcher caching.
• Familiarity with Selenium for testing automation.
• Proficiency with Maven for build management.
