Description

You will build scalable, accessible frontend components for AEM-based applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop new user-facing features from designs, ensuring WCAG 2.2 AA compliance.
• Architect modular, maintainable CSS using BEM, OOCSS, and SASS.
• Build and document UI components using Storybook.
• Optimize page performance for Core Web Vitals and cross-browser compatibility.
• Validate user input and integrate components into the CMS.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of frontend development experience.
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and DOM manipulation.
• Strong experience with jQuery and its ecosystem.
• Deep understanding of CSS methodologies (BEM, OOCSS) and SASS.
• Experience building UI components with Storybook.
• Familiarity with AEM Sightly/HTL.
• Proficient with Git/SVN for version control.
• Knowledge of SEO principles and semantic markup.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Figma for design handoff.
• Knowledge of Twitter Bootstrap and responsive design.
