Description

You will perform structural stress analysis on aerospace components, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with engineering standards.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

  • Perform static, fatigue, and damage tolerance analysis for aircraft structures using classical hand calculations.
  • Determine critical failure modes and analyze primary and secondary metallic structures to ensure safety.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and extract loads from Finite Element Models.
  • Generate engineering stress reports that establish compliance with CFR25.571.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
  • 5-12 years of experience as a Stress Engineer in the Aerospace Industry.
  • Proficiency with Boeing Stress Tools: IAS, XSA/SA+, FEADMS, IDTAS, Moss-Duberg, and FAMOSS.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of stress analysis for aerospace metallic and composite structures.
  • Familiarity with Boeing Static and Book 1, 2, and 3 Fatigue Analysis Methodologies.
  • Understanding of load paths and damage tolerance analysis.
