Description

You will plan, design, develop, and verify complex system-of-systems solutions using an interdisciplinary approach.

Responsibilities

• Define and coordinate system performance requirements by evaluating customer and operational needs.
• Integrate technical parameters to ensure compatibility across all physical, functional, and program interfaces.
• Perform analyses to optimize system architecture for safety, reliability, maintainability, and security.
• Manage requirements, risk, issues, and technology readiness assessment processes.
• Resolve cross-functional technical issues to ensure mission success and regulatory certification.

Required Skills

• Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry.
• 9+ years of experience performing system safety analysis and studies.
• Experience conducting Airplane Level Safety Analysis.
• Working knowledge of ARP4754 and ARP4761.
• Proficiency in Aerospace, Aviation, and Avionics domains.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
• Experience with Risk Assessment and Product Quality management.

Preferred Skills

• 14+ years of related work experience.
• Experience with FAR Part 25.1309, FTA, FHA, and SAR.
• 5+ years in Commercial Airplane-Systems design or analysis (e.g., Flight Controls, Hydraulics, Avionics, Fuels).
